If you don’t want to invest in domain name, they we can offer you a free sub-domain. This free sub-domain will look something like this – yourschoolname.schoolconnectindia.org.in. But in case you want your own domain name then you need to purchase it yourself from any service provider of your choice.
Case 2 : Custom Domain of your choice [You need to Purchase it separately]
If you would like to have a custom domain name such as www.yourschoolname.com, you will need to purchase it yourself from any domain provider of your choice. This allows you the flexibility to choose a unique and personalized web address for your school.
The charges for domain name will cost around 1,000 rupees. Any charges you pay will go directly to them. Our services are free as promised.
If you want to buy a domain name ending with .ac.in or .edu.in, you should purchase it from www.registry.ernet.in. This is a government organization, and according to the rules of Indian Government, they are the only authority authorized to sell these domain names.
Component 2 : Web Hosting Space
Responsibility No. 2 : Web hosting must be purchased from us to prevent any risk of ‘code’ leakage. Your this payment will help us to continue with our vision of offering free services to education sector.
You need to pay for these services because we also need to purchase them from service providers. This is not for profit but to cover the costs and ensure we can continue providing our services effectively. By charging for these services, we are simply balancing the expenses associated with maintaining and delivering our offerings.
We prioritize the security of our software, which is why we do not sell or distribute our code to third parties. Instead, we keep the code exclusively on our secure servers to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
To maintain this high level of security, we request our customers to buy web hosting services directly from us.

- 1 Rupee Per MB: Additional Data Usage: The above pricing covers the first 1 GB of data. If your usage exceeds 1 GB, any additional data will be charged at a rate of 1 Rupee per MB. This ensures that you only pay for the extra data you actually use, keeping costs predictable and transparent.
- Typical School Website Usage : Most schools typically require less than 500 MB of space for their website. This means that the 1 GB included in our standard plan is more than sufficient for the vast majority of schools. Whether it’s for storing content like text, images, or documents, most school websites comfortably stay well within this limit.
- What’s Included: The annual fee includes secure web hosting, continued use of your custom domain, SSL encryption for your site, and ongoing access to our support and training resources.
